  • Must be in possession of a Police Clearance and undergo the Sexual Vetting Process
  • SACE registered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with the SIAS process and Education White Paper 6
  • Adhere to WCED policies and practices
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders: Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, learners, and parents
  • Proficient in administration, maintaining accurate records, and meeting deadlines
  • Manage time effectively within a timetable while remaining flexible as needed
  • Manage learning space, including inventory and budgets
  • Knowledgeable about Learning Support requirements within WCED guidelines
  • Implement screening, assessment, intervention, and support for learners
  • Develop and manage Individual Education Plans (IEP) for learners
  • Coordinate with external support agencies and specialised therapists/counsellors
  • Work collaboratively in various settings: individual, small groups, and classroom
  • Identify and administer support programmes, including Literacy programmes
  • Oversee concessions for learners
  • Maintain CPTD accreditation and stay updated with current developments
